James hails from Long Island, NY. He received his BFA in acting from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. Since graduating he has worked in a number of TV, film, and theatre productions. He appeared on Law & Order: SVU, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Poker Face, and the new FX series Dying For Sex.
